There’s no better way to find joy than volunteering or investing your time to something you truly believe in. Hard to believe it’s been almost a year since I’ve been involved with Nova Scotia’s TMA: Therapeutic Medical Alert Service Dogs.
Puppies are placed from 8 weeks where they begin puppy socialization and training until they’re finally ready to be placed with their clients at about 2 years of age after more advanced training. Here’s a snap of our sweet Miss Ali at only 10 weeks of age. In this snap she is outside her work site of the day, Crandall University. Taking a pee break in the deep winter snow with her little training vest on!… What a sweetheart.
